Hello All,
As I sit here writing to you all via my iPhone I can only think about how far we have all come as a society. Whether it be through technological, social, or creative breakthroughs, it just amazes me how the thought of growing up in an environment, where only the rich had internet or cellphones, has now become a distant memory. Gone are the days where writing letters, poems, stories, and drawing doodles in your three ring binder are the way that we expressed how we felt in our own little worlds. This isn’t something that scares or disappoints me though, as I am, and always have been, an avid fan of those genius minds that help invent and improve the technology that makes our worlds better. Now, I understand that this is probably a terrible introduction to what my blog is truly about but I just thought I’d share how I felt exactly as I started to write this prologue to my most upcoming project. If it wasn’t for these technological breakthroughs I would not be able to transmit this blog to all of you at once, for free, and from the convenience of a hand held object at any location that my life has lead me to.
I'll be bringing you along with me as I attempt to enjoy the many opportunities life hands me as well as trying to get my career started. You'll see different moments in my life in this blog which will take you on a detailed path as it pertains to the learning, experimenting, failing, and succeeding in becoming a professional graphic designer. I will be posting projects that I will be working on as well as different creative pieces that I find throughout the internet that inspire me to continue on my path. This is meant to inspire those that have been through the same thing that I have since graduating college. I felt first hand what its like to have spent 4 years of my time and money learning about a career that I ultimately did not want to work in. This is my attempt at trying something that I do believe I am good at and can see myself doing for the rest of my life.
